Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley
Your adventure begins in the vibrant city of Marrakech. After a hearty breakfast, we will drive through the picturesque High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, the highest in North Africa. As we wind through the dramatic landscapes, we'll stop at charming Berber villages to immerse ourselves in the local culture. By late afternoon, we'll arrive in the stunning Dades Valley, known for its lush oases and striking rock formations. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and settle in for the night at a cozy guesthouse.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Sahara Desert (Merzouga)
After breakfast, we continue our journey towards the Sahara Desert. En route, we'll visit the impressive Todra Gorge, a series of limestone river canyons off ering spectacular scenery and great photo opportunities. As we approach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara, the landscape changes dramatically to endless dunes. In Merzouga, you'll have the chance to ride camels into the desert, where we'll set up camp. Experience the magic of the Sahara with a sunset over the dunes, a traditional Berber dinner, and a night under the stars in a desert camp.
Day 3: Sahara Desert Exploration
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before enjoying a traditional breakfast. Today is all about exploring the Sahara. You can visit a nomadic Berber village to learn about their way of life, see the nearby oases, or try sandboarding on the dunes. In the evening, return to our desert camp for another memorable night under the stars, complete with Berber music and storytelling around the campfi re.
Day 4: Sahara Desert to Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, we'll leave the Sahara and head towards Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its well-preserved kasbahs. En route, we'll pass through the Draa Valley, known for its vast palm groves and ancient caravan routes. Upon arrival in Ait Ben Haddou, you'll have the chance to explore this historic site, which has been featured in many fi lms and TV shows. Enjoy a guided tour of the kasbahs, followed by a relaxing evening and dinner at a nearby hotel.
Day 5: Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech
On our fi nal day, we'll journey back to Marrakech, passing through the scenic landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains once again. Along the way, we'll stop to visit the Telouet Kasbah, a historic fortress with stunning architecture and fascinating history. We'll arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, where you can enjoy the bustling souks, vibrant street life, and delicious
cuisine. Your unforgettable journey through southern Morocco concludes here, with memories to last a lifetime.
